Summer’s here and The Beach is back!

Lumbridge Crater has been transformed into a seasonal oasis where you can train your skills or just take it easy and soak up the summer holiday vibes. You've always got a chance of finding some extra rewards while skilling at The Beach, and this year we've got a couple of new additions - the Skeleton Warrior Conjure Override and a new Casual Beachwear outfit! Nothing says summer like a makeover for you and your best skelly friends! You can also pick up both rewards directly from Flo's Shop for 150 Runecoins each.

Speaking of drops, we'd like to introduce you to someone new...

Yep, this is what you think it is - this is Clawdie, the long-awaited Boss Pet drop from Clawdia!

Alongside a few new rewards, we've also packed a load of Quality of Life improvements into this year's Beach, including longer AFK timers for some activities and the ability to get Skilling Pet drops while training here. Don't miss the full Patch Notes below to see all the changes we've brought to the sandy shore this year!

• Sheathing equipped weapons should no longer affect aura overrides.

The Beach ⛱

• The following tokens from the beach are now tradeable on the Grand Exchange:
• Stick of Rock token
• Phoebe pet token
• Throwing disc token
• Throwing starfish token
• Bucket head token
• Buried in sand rest emote token
• Clawdia hat token
• Dragon ring token
• Snorkel token
• All beach reward tokens are now tradeable on the Grand Exchange for Ironmen.
• Players can now participate in bodybuilding with a pet summoned.
• Skilling pets can now be obtained from all Beach skilling activities.
• Increased the AFK timeout on the following Beach activities:
• Bodybuilding
• Sandcastle building
• Hook-a-duck
• Coconut shy
• Barbecues
• The following beach skilling activities now have a headbar to show when they'll time out:
• Bodybuilding
• Sandcastle building
• Hook-a-duck
• Coconut shy
• Barbecues
• Dungeoneering hole
• Sandy Clues that are not located on the Beach itself have been removed.
• Sandy Caskets are now stackable.
• The following changes have been made to basic co*cktails:
• Now have a right-click option specifying what skills they cover.
• Now work akin to advanced co*cktails - drinking one will provide a 10% boost for 15 minutes (rather than stacking 2-10%).
• If the relevant advanced co*cktail is active, its Beach skilling activity can now be participated in at full temperature.
• The following rewards have been moved to the Cosmetic Item Shop:
• Iaia Beachwear token
• Flower hairpin token
• Oar token
• Ful surfboard
• Wen surfboard
• Bik surfboard
• Increased the chance of obtaining unique rewards from Beach skilling activities.
• Added the following old rewards to the loot table for Beach skilling activities:
• Monkey cape
• Ring of sand
• Shark fists
• Added new variants of the Beach Swimming and Beach Summer Fun outfits, without blue lines:
• Beach Swimming (plain)
• Beach Summer Fun (plain)
• The Beach Swimming female top now has a belly button.
• A new boss pet, Clawdie, can now be obtained as a drop from Clawdia.

Archaeology Daemonheim 🖌️

• Aged journal can no longer be disassembled.
• Players may now appropriately dig for the Chaos Witch's Wand again.

Quests 🧙‍♂️

• Cave now appears correctly in Salt in the Wound.
• Fixed typos in Violet is Blue Too.

General 🔧

• The shell clue has moved to the same spot as before, near the Lighthouse.
• The word "rune" has now been removed from the Replica Saradomin Kiteshield on the Wardrobe.
• Achievements are now appropriately unlocked when using a boost to meet requirements.
• Fixed an issue with Solak's final phase where the Manifestations of Erethdor would target new players that teleported into Solak's mind, rather than sticking to their current target.
• Fixed an issue where the Manifestations of Erethdor wouldn't return to dealing damage to Solak if their target died or returned to the base map.
• Saradomin Sabatons can now be equipped correctly as a cosmetic override.
• Badir the Snake Charmer now has a 'Listen to' option.
• Added resting spot map icons to various musicians around Gielinor.
• Fixed tutorial UI for certain languages.
• Removed an additional reference to Hero Pass.
• Hemlock's extra dialogue option is now always accessible through 'Other topics'.
• Fixed Vyrewatches that were not attacking the player in Darkmeyer.
• Altered the Professor hairstyle so that it will no longer clip with hats and tiaras.
• The Lucille pet now is shown as a pet in the unlock notifications from the Treasure Hunter and in the chat message when unlocked.
• Reduced Osseous' cutscene combat level to match Osseous' boss combat level.
• Corrected a typo in the Occultist's Ring examine text.
• Corrected punctuation in the animal trait re-roller dialogue window.
• Field of view will no longer change based on interface scaling settings.
